In June 2000 I graduated from Falmouth University with a first-class honours in illustration. During the graduation show I was picked up by digital agency Deepend in London and was also represented by UK illustrators’ agency NB Illustration for eight years. In 2005 I moved back to Oslo and have since then been employed by digital agency Agens, then motion graphics design studio Racecar. In 2016 I became self employed.
I am trained as a traditional illustrator but I have a broad experience, working within publishing, advertising, web, social media, games, animation and TV. I love the variety of my job, and I am happy when I can adapt my style to best benefit the job I have been commissioned to do.
I also have degrees in Social Anthropology and Pedagogy.
The pencil is the starting point of any project. A confident line, good composition and engaging storytelling is at the core of every project.
I started animating during my final year at Falmouth University and have since then gained experience through my employments. I primarily animate in After Effects.
As a graduate I created 2D graphics for online games at Deepend, continuing this at Agens in Oslo. Developing characters and environments where they come to life is work and play merged.
